Woonplaats: Amsterdam
Hi there! My name is Anouk, and I'm Franco-Dutch. After completing my French baccalaureate, I moved to Amsterdam at 18 to study at the University of Amsterdam in the PPLE bachelor program (Politics, Psychology, Law, and Economics), where I specialize in politics. Outside of my studies, I'm passionate about athletics and serve as the general secretary of the Aquila sports association in Amsterdam. Sports have taught me discipline and perseverance—qualities that I naturally incorporate into my teaching style. I'm a dynamic, organized, and reliable person, and I'm committed to helping each student progress at their own pace while building confidence in their abilities. I've been a teaching assistant at the University of Amsterdam for four months now, a position I earned after excelling in the psychology course last year. In this role, I participate in program development, course preparation, and assignment creation, which allows me to work closely with the teaching team and better understand the educational needs of students. Academically, I'm currently in my second year of the PPLE bachelor program at the University of Amsterdam, specializing in politics.
I'm a dynamic, organized, and reliable person, and I'm committed to helping each student progress at their own pace while building confidence in their abilities. I'm currently a teaching assistant at the university, a role that allows me to support first-year students, guide them in their learning, and share my passion for social sciences. I absolutely love teaching: I enjoy encouraging curiosity and creating a warm and motivating learning environment. This past year, I have been providing individual tutoring sessions to people of various age, different nationalities and different proficiency levels. Learning with me means receiving personalized, supportive guidance tailored to your pace. With my experience as a teaching assistant at the University of Amsterdam, I have a good understanding of academic expectations and the challenges students face, and I know how to make concepts clearer, simpler, and more accessible. Booking a first lesson is a great opportunity to discover my teaching method, ask all your questions, and start making progress right away. I would be thrilled to accompany you on your journey and help you unlock your full potential.
